GIRL HOSPITALIZED AFTER BEING HIT BY VEHICLE

A Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School student was injured Tuesday afternoon in the Contant area after being struck by a vehicle. According to reports, the student may have been crossing the roadway between the Ulla Muller Elementary School and Harwood Highway when she was struck by one vehicle and pinned against another.
Emergency medical technicians, police officers and St. Thomas Rescue officers worked feverishly attending to the injured student. She was transported by ambulance to Schneider Hospital for treatment. No word was immediately available on her condition.
The accident is under investigation by the Virgin Islands Police Department Traffic Division.
