The St. John Community Foundation will hold a Candidates Forum to acquaint the voters of St. John with candidates running for the 24th Legislature in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Residents will be able to meet candidates, ask questions and share specific concerns.
Due to the large number of candidates, two forum evenings have been scheduled. The forums will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13 at the Westin Resort on St. John. The Westin Resort has donated its ballroom for the meetings, and for those who wish to gather at the resort before or after the forum, the Beach Bar opens at 5 p.m. with appetizers available; dinner is served at the Beach Cafe from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
