A VOTE AGAINST STRIKES BY TEACHERS

As much as I commiserate and empathize with the working person, I cannot condone strikes by public safety, health, and teaching personnel. We choose these occupations knowing the conditions are inherently bad and the pay historically low. We strive to improve them, but we cannot abandon the people we choose to serve. Most of the people now complaining voted for the present administration, which turned out to be a continuation of the status quo.
