Police reported a spate of crimes near downtown Charlotte Amalie this weekend, including a shooting and a robbery.
According to Deputy Police Chief Theodore Carty, Errol Milliner of Estate Tutu was attacked by several men near Seventh Day Street around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Carty said Milliner was stabbed in the arm and leg and robbed of $250 cash and some gold jewelry.
About one hour later, Grinoos Jennings of Anna's Retreat was approached by a group of men, also near Seventh Day Street, and stabbed in the nose.
Carty said the two incidents were unrelated.
Both Milliner, 36, and Jennings, 21, were reported in stable condition.
Just before 4 a.m. Sunday, Ronais Vanterpool of Estate Thomas was shot in the forehead while riding as a passenger in a car on Dronnigens Gade, police said. Vanterpool was listed in stable condition at Schneider Hospital.
