'ARTS AFTER DARK': A LOOK AT GLASSBLOWING

For its August "Arts After Dark," the St. Thomas-St. John Arts Council invites members and the public to enjoy an evening of glassblowing demonstrations at Maho Bay Camps by artists of the Urban Glass Studio in New York. There will be demonstrations with commentary from 6 to 10 p.m. Those attending are invited to have dinner or dessert in the nearby Maho Bay Camps dining pavilion (reservations requested; call 776-6226). Those traveling from St. Thomas should take the 5 p.m. ferry and then take the 5:20 p.m. Maho Bay shuttle from the Cruz Bay dock area (the fare is $4 each way). For more information, call 776-4812 or e-mail to jestinger@viaccess.net.
