BRIAN BEDMINSTER NEW MR. CAHS 2000

On Saturday April 15 four talented young men vied for the title of Mr. Charlotte Amalie High School 2000. The contestants were Dean Williams,n Brian Bedminster, Chenenko Wheatley and Aneil Ruan.
The show began with an introductory dance by all of the contestants choreographed by one of our own seniors ,Edgar Smart. In the sportswear segment dressed in black and teal scuba diving gear Dean Williams got the crowd jumping as he showed the audience that life is better under the sea.
Brian Bedminster had the crowd cheering for him as he made a hole in one and proved that he is just as good as Tiger Woods.
In the talent segment, Chenenko Wheatley amazed the crowd by trying to catch the heart of the one he loves with his own Caribbean version of Romeo and Juliette.
Aniel Ruan also had the crowd roaring as he played the saxophone and then performed a martial arts dance routine to Aaliyah’s "Try Again".
As the night moved along the competition got stiffer. The evening wear segment swept all the ladies off their feet as contestant #2 Brian Bedminster strutted across the stage in his black pin striped zoot suit.
The night became more intense as the question and answer segment came up. Each contestant chose and answered a question to the best of his ability. As the night came to an end the contestants were serenaded by Tynisha Andersen who sang, "For You I Will." As production advisor Erma Skelton came on stage to congratulate all the contestants.
The winners were: Best Talent- Chenenko Wheatley, Mr. Intellect, Brian Bedminster, First Runner-Up- Chenenko Wheatley and the new Mr. Charlotte Amalie High School 2000, was Brian Bedminster. Congratulations to all the contestants for all their hard work and may the new king enjoy his reign.
