GOOD FRIDAY LIQUOR LAW

The general public is reminded that on Friday, "Good Friday," April 21, the V.I. Code prohibits the sale of distilled liquor and drinks prepared with distilled liquor in public places between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Violations of this law carry a fine of up to $200 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.
Distilled liquor, as defined in Title 8, Secion 1 of the V.I. Code, is any alcoholic beverage containing more than 16% alcohol.
