SHOOTING DEATH AT TUTU CONVENIENCE STORE REPORTED

An unidentified man is the latest victim of a homicide on St. Thomas. The victim of the late morning shooting died of his injuries outside the Hometown Convenience Store in Estate Tutu, according to WVWI/Radio One.
The St. Thomas radio station quoted unnamed police sources as saying the shooting occurred at a pay telephone outside the store shortly after 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Police investigators were dispatched to the scene. No information has been released as yet on the incident, the victim, suspects or motive.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Police Major Crime Unit at 774-2196, the Investigation Bureau at 774-4050 or police emergency 911.
