ANOTHER VOICE HEARD ON COMPULSORY INSURANCE

Dear Source,
My opinion for what it is worth, is that compulsory insurance is a good thing and should be a part of getting a vehicle licensed in the territory.
Where I differ is that since the insurance companies are getting a major windfall of financial gain, they should now offer the insureds (us) the option of being able to purchase additional coverages of 'Uninsured Motorist' as well as 'Collision' ( perils to the vehicle such as a meeting with a wall regardless of the reason) and 'Comprehensive' ( fire, theft, vandalism, glass) on the OLDER VEHICLES.
The fact they are not offering this as well as reducing their premium for a 10/20/10 liability coverage, considering the vast expansion of the pooled insureds , IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
