MAN MURDERED WITH CAR

A 25-year-old St. Croix man died Wednesday after being intentionally run over by a car the day before, police said.
Ian Grey was run over by Jamil Newton, 21, Tuesday night after the two were involved in an argument in Barren Spot. police said. Newton was arrested on assault charges after the incident. Upon Grey’s death, the charges were upgraded to murder.
Grey died at the Central Medical Hospital in Puerto Rico Wednesday night.
On St. Thomas, meanwhile, police are still investigating the death of 18-year-old Kareem Satorie. Satorie was shot in the head early Thursday morning and died of his injuries about 12 hours later.
Police have not identified a suspect or motive in Satorie’s murder.
The homicides are the third and fouth in the territory for the year. There were 24 murders in the territory in 1999.
