HOSPITAL GROUND WATER-LINE PROJECT TO BEGIN

A $460,00 project to rehabilitate Water and Power Authority water lines that run from Bergs Home to Beltjen Road is slated to begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Lionel Roberts Stadium.
The project, which will include work at lower Hospital Grounds, Winston Raymo Recreation Center and Wet Willy's, is expected to take a year to complete.
A release from WAPA said E.D. Plumbing Inc, the contractor, will attempt to complete the job in less time.
WAPA asked the public to follow traffic signs, obey no-parking instructions and take detours when requested.
