Good Grief, how in the name of all that is right, can those pay raises be given out when the VI is in a financial mess and the schools are falling down? Is this how the $300 million is being spent? The leadership of the VI is either the stupidest bunch of people or the most corrupt since Papa Doc in Haiti. It's time that the feds take over and clean house. Hopefully the VI can eventually be handed back to the people. I'm an old hippie and I say "Power to the People". If they are going to spend that kind of money it should have been on trying to generate some tourist dollars. I haven't seen an ad on television for years. If I weren’t already a frequent visitor to St. Croix I wouldn't even know that it exists.
