TEEN-AGER SHOT ON CHRISTMAS DAY

Jahkeela Elmes, age 14, was shot early Saturday morning while sitting in front of the USO on the waterfront.
According to a release from territorial Police Chief Jose Garcia, the Roy L. Schneider hospital notified police about the shooting victim at 5:51 a.m. Christmas morning.
Elmes told police he was sitting on a vehicle by the USO when he heard shots and realized he'd been hit by a bullet in the upper left arm.
The teen-ager told police he had no idea who shot him. He was treated and released from the hospital the same day.
Garcia said the Juvenile Bureau was investigating the incident. He gave no address for Elmes.
