Congrats to David North on his op-ed piece regarding estate taxes. He is right on. The Virgin Islands can generate terrific income by developing a retirement industry the foundation of which is taxation and health care.
In addition to a proactive tax policy to entice retirees to move to the V.I., we also need a first-rate health-care system. Will someone please read and implement David North's estate tax idea.
