Congrats to David North on his op-ed piece regarding estate taxes…he is right on. The Virgin Islands can generate terrific income by developing a retirement industry; the Foundation of which is taxation and healthcare.
In addition to a proactive tax policy to entice retirees to move to the VI, we also need a first rate healthcare system. Will someone please read and implement David North's estate tax idea.
