TWO TOP CORRECTIONS BUREAU OFFICIALS REPLACED

Acting Gov. Gerard Luz James II relieved the two top people in the Corrections Bureau of their positions on Friday.
James, who is acting governor while Gov. Charles W. Turnbull is in Washington attending meetings, announced that he replaced Corrections Bureau director Gina Harrison with Horace Magras and replaced assistant director Gerald Enos with Ewin Harris.
In a release from Government House, James said that, after reviewing problems in the bureau, he decided to make the changes in order to "improve its operations."
Magras has held the position of assistant warden for the bureau since 1997. Harris has been a warden since 1997.
