BOLONGO BAY ROAD CLOSED THURSDAY

Bolongo Bay Road from the bottom of Donkey Hill to the entrance to Bolongo Bay Beach Club and Villas — a sea of potholes — will be closed Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road repairs.
The Public Works Department announced Wednesday night that islandwide road repairs have begun.
Complaints about potholes and poor roads have mushroomed in recent weeks — especially since recent hurricanes and heavy rains took their toll on roads already in need of repair.
DPW asked the public to cooperate while work is being completed. Assistant Commissioner Wayne D. Callwood said he regrets any inconvenience caused by the disruption of traffic.
