PINK PAPAYA MAKING 12 WITH HOLIDAY ART SHOW

The Pink Papaya gallery and gift shop is hosting its 12th anniversary gala on Friday, Dec. 3, with the opening of an exhibition of new works by eight artists.
The reception from 5 to 9 p.m. will include live music, merriment and an artistically trimmed Christmas tree.
It will be the gallery's premiere showing of oils by St. Thomas painter David Hill, who will also be showing watercolors. Other artists whose new works will be represented are co-owner Lisa Etre (acrylics), Susanne Ball (acrylics), Darline DeStephen (oils), Louie Gizyn (mocko jumbie sculptures), Marcia Jameson (oils), Nandy King (hand-painted silks), and Diane Kwiecien (acrylics and tile murals).
The show will hang through the end of the year. To learn more, call 693-8535.
