CHASE WORKERS SET FOR SATURDAY DAY OF SERVICE

Chase Manhattan Bank employees on St. Thomas and St. Croix will be hard at work on Saturday, Nov. 13 — as community volunteers participating in the bank's 5th annual Global Day of Service.
They'll be cleaning, painting, landscaping, entertaining and spending time with children and senior citizens in a total of eight projects.
On St. Thomas, bank volunteers will be reporting to the Lucinda Millin Home for the Aged, the Nana Baby Children's Home, the Humane Society, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Joseph Gomez, Joseph Sibilly and Montessori Schools.
Their counterparts on St. Croix will donate their time and energy to sprucing up the Pearl B. Larsen School.
The day of service was rescheduled from Oct. 23 because of the visit to the territory that week of Hurricane Jose
Last year, around the globe, more than 13,000 Chase employees, family members and friends took part in Global Day of Service projects.
"Chase has always been a friend of the community," St. Thomas Humane Society shelter manager Hubert Brumant said, "and once again they've choosing the Humane Society as one of their places for Global Day of Service."
