SAILOR VOLUNTEERS GET ST. JOHN'S THANKS

St. John administrator Julien Harley has expressed appreciation on behalf of the St. John community to the sailors from two U.S. Navy ships who volunteered their services to spruce up three island facilities over the Columbus Day/V.I.-Puerto Rico Friendship Day weekend.
The crew members from the USS John Hall and the USS Mahan painted the Clarice Thomas Annex school building, beautified the law around the Elaine Ione Sprauve Library and erected playground equipment at the Pine Peace School basketball court.
The equipment was donated by Boyson Inc.
Harley also extended thanks to Mimi Alioto of Marina Market in Cruz Bay for donating beverages and snacks for the crew member volunteers.
