EAST MIXES MOON, MUSIC FOR FUND RAISER AFLOAT

By the light of the silvery moon, the Environmental Association of St. Thomas-St. John invites the public to join "in celebrating our environmental resources."
As a fund and friend raiser, EAST has put together a St. Thomas harbor cruise aboard the Kon Tiki the night of Saturday, Oct. 23, when there just happens to be a full moon. The three-hour outing will feature dancing to the music of Sammy Watts, a complimentary wine and cheese buffet and a cash bar. While the party raft is out and about, there'll be a raffle aboard of various donated items, as well as a 50/50 cash raffle.
Tickets are $25. They're available at Dockside Bookshop and East End Secretarial Services, as well as from any EAST board member. The Kon Tiki will board from 7 p.m. on the St. Thomas waterfront, depart at 7:30 and return around 10:30 p.m. If you'd like to reserve space or learn more, call 775-0321.
