WOMEN'S BUSINESS CENTER SETS CONFERENCE SEPT. 28

The Women's Business Center in cooperation with the Small Business Administration will host a conference on Tuesday, Sept. 28, to introduce the public to the services it offers. Delegate Donna Christian-Christensen and SBA officials will be among the presenters.
Meaningful business training, counseling, mentoring and networking are among the topics to be covered, according to a flyer. The center's program represents an "important step in the economic empowerment of women and the creation of opportunities for all Virgin Islanders," the flyer states
The conference will take place at Palms Court Harborview from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m.; there's a $10 fee which covers continental breakfast and lunch. To reserve space or learn more, contact Margaret Dean by calling 776-3320 or faxing to 779-8133.
