TOYS FOR TOTS TOURNEY IS A SUCCESS

Only five strokes seperated the first- and fourth-place teams in the Fourth Annual St. Croix Marine Corps Association’s Toys for Tots Golf Tournament on Sunday.
Carl Gotts, the tournament director, said the 87 players and near pefect weather made the tournament at the Carambola Golf Course a "tremendous success."
"We were successful because of the continued and generous support for Toys for Tots receives from the St. Croix business community, the golfers who play in our tournament year after year and the superb and professional staff of Carambola," Gotts said.
And while no one drove home the Hole-in-One prize of the Suzuki Vitara from Metro Motors, Gotts said a few close calls were reported.
