HOT CORNER FOR COOL LEMONADE

Three young St. Thomians are starting early on the road to their own business.
Hannah Mills, Andrea Tromben, and Charlotte Van Heurck, all eleven years old, said, "We had the stand twice in the summer and the last two Saturdays."
A great location at the base of North Star Village offers lots of room for pottential potential customers to pull over and sample the lemonade. Like so many privately held companies, the Lemonade Stand was tight lipped about profits, but estimates of parents and experts placed income per partner as breaking into the low two figures.
Expansion plans are proceeding with both hand colored greeting cards and avocados available on this record breaking third consecutive Saturday opening. In spite of this early success, the future is uncertain.
When asked about upcoming Saturdays, Andrea Tromben responded, "It depends on homework and we usually have soccer practice Saturday."
So if you see the Lemonade Stand open, don't pass by thinking you'll try some other time. It may be your only chance to lime, or in this case, lemon.
