SUNSET RUN/WALK TAKES DIFFERENT TACK

T he 1999 Sunset Walk/Run originally slated for the waterfront was re-routed Sunday due to water on the apron.
Instead participants in the St. Thomas Association of Roadrunners run did two laps around Sugar Estate, a distance of two and a half miles.
Here are the top three winners in each category:
Youth
1 – Lynell Boyce 30:10
2 – Tamika Maduro 31:56
3 – Lylia Clarmont 32:00
Female
1 – Charlotte Morris 19:44
2 – Jude Woodcock 21:05
3 – Lorraine Maduro 28:09
Male
1 – Elvan Yabba Misbett 17:07
2 – Peter Alter 18:22
3 – Jeff Miller 18:29
