BORNN TO DISCUSS TOURISM WITH TAXI INDUSTRY

Department of Tourism Commissioner-designate Michael Bornn will meet with St. Croix taxi drivers on Aug. 18.
Bornn wants to discuss the role of taxi drivers in the island’s tourism industry and how the tourism product can be strengthened.
"Taxi drivers are among the first and last persons that our visitors meet," Bornn said. "They play a vital role in the impressions that visitors have of the Virgin Islands."
The meeting will be held at the Caravelle Hotel on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m.
