SHOOTING SATURDAY MAY HAVE BEEN RETALIATORY

A shooting Saturday night may have been in retaliation for the killing of a St. Thomas youth at the end of St. John Carnival in the early morning hours of July 7.
Abijah Brown, 17, of Donoe building 50, apartment C, was walking toward the basketball court at the housing project around 9:15 p.m. when he was shot in the shoulder and the side of the neck. He was transported to the Roy L. Schneider Hospital.
Sources told Radio One news that Brown may be implicated in the shooting and subsequent death of 14-year-old Kishawn Daly of Oswald Harris Court. Daly died July 13 after he was shot at point-blank range.
Police are investigating the incident. Anyone who has information is urged to contact police at 774-4050, 774-2233, or at 911.
