PUBLIC WORKS COMMENCES TRAFFIC COUNTS

Public Works Department's Office of State Planning and Research has started collecting traffic counts on St. Croix. Counters have been installed on Routes 62 and 82.
The automatic traffic counters are essential to the department's research and compilation of accurate records. The public is asked by Acting Public Works Commissioner Harold G. Thompson, Jr. not to tamper with or remove the equipment.
If you should see anyone tampering with the counters or if any become loose, please contact DPW at 773-1290 ex.2278.
