UNITED WAY MEETS AND SURPASSES GOAL

The 16 human service agencies that are supported by the United Way of St. Thomas-St. John will receive full allocations for the upcoming year from the umbrella organization that funds them, due to a very successful United Way fund raising campaign.
The goal for the 1999 campaign was $490,000. Scott Barber, campaign chairman, announced a total of $493,257.13 was raised.
Barber commended the outstanding efforts of the campaign volunteers and board members.
The announcement was made at the annual meeting held on March 30.
