BERRY TO PUBLIC WORKS: FIX ROADS

Sen. Lorraine Berry is asking Public Works officials to repair roads, replace street lights and clean clogged drains across St. Thomas.
Berry said she has received complaints from residents of Mountain Top, Bonne Resolution, Anna's Retreat, Nazareth, Scott Free and Wintberg about the condition of roads in those areas.
She has written Elbert Proctor, acting superintendent of roads, noting the complaints, according to a release from her office.
She also pointed out problems with flooding in Altona, Havensight, Vitraco Park Mall and Caret Bay.
Berry also wrote to Tyrone Martin, Public Works territorial special assistant, to advise him of complaints from Upper Solberg and Altona-Welgust residents about the lack of adequate street lights in those areas.
