Shane De Gannes, Ruth Ann David Win V.I. 10K Road Race

The Virgin Islands 10K Road Race Championships on St. Croix’s North Shore with just a few runners toeing the start line was a perfect opportunity for the top runners in the territory to prove themselves against each other. The race was supposed to pit 2014 champ Juan Robles of St. Croix against Shane De Gannes, the top runner on St. Thomas and St. John, for the male title; St. Croix’s Brigiette Campbell-Klein’ major competition was supposed to be Ruth Ann David of St. Thomas. It was not to be though because Robles and Campbell-Klein missed the race.
