The Department of Tourism’s St. Thomas office continues to experience problems with its telephone system.

 The VIEDA’s  Public Hearings and Governing Board Decision Meetings scheduled for Wednesday, Jan,  9, have been postponed. 

 The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) notifies the public of its latest territory-wide gas price survey findings. The survey was completed on Dec. 27 on St. Croix and St. John, and on Dec. 28 on St. Thomas.

 VITRAN Fixed Route Bus Service will be suspended on St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.

 Lt. Gov. Gregory R. Francis is asking Virgin Islanders to refrain from the practice of firing guns on New Year’s Eve in order to avoid the risk of injury and further violence as the territory welcomes 2013.

 Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority customer service offices throughout the territory will close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, to facilitate a territory-wide video-conference staff meeting.

 The VI Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) advises residents that the territory’s landfills, transfer stations and administrative offices will be observing the following hours of operation during the Christmas and New Year’s Holiday season.

 Lt. Gov. Gregory R. Francis in a press release issued by his office on Monday, Dec. 24, extended holiday greetings to all residents and visitors of the Virgin Islands as the territory celebrates the Christmas season and prepares for the New Year.

  The latest rack rate price change reported to the DLCA by Hovensa concerning the latest notice of motor fuels price changes reports that a significant decrease continues to be effective.
