Elsie E. Pickering George died on April 17 at her residence. She was 74 years old.

 Rudolph Nataniel Welsh died on April 17 on St. Thomas. He was 70.

 Albert E. Mercer was affectionately known as “Bay-toe,” “St. Pauli Girl” and “Mr. Dick, the ice cream man.” He was a native of Tortola who resided and positively contributed to the territory of the Virgin Islands for over 50 years. He was instrumental in the formation of Islander Taxi Inc. and many other business ventures.

 Baby Johny Bordes was born on Sept. 2, 2012 and died on April 14, 2013.

 A memorial service will be held for Ricardo Frett at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 22, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.

 Lillian M. Thomas Frett, also known as “Lily,” died on March 25, at her residence. She was 89 years old.

 Irene Justina G. Thomas died on April 13.

 Earl O. Sewer died on April 12.

 Winifred H. Smith, better known as "Wini," died on April 5.

Aurio A. Rivera-Correa Jr., better known as “Chickie the pool player,” died on April 9.
