Mango Tango Art Gallery

The fifteen-year success of Mango Tango Art Gallery in St. Thomas is the result of a unique relationship between the artists it represents and the gallery owners, Jane Coombes and Smokey Pratt. Coombes explains that "the artists give us exclusivity and total commitment to creating great art, and in return we give them exhibition space, marketing power, and encouragement to take risks."
The 2,700 square foot gallery features original paintings, sculpture, woodturning, quilts, and limited and open edition prints. To package the art on view, quality picture framing is offered. Pratt notes that "during our monthly art shows between November and May, we emphasize the art rather than framing. Often we only put mats on watercolors and put no frames on paintings on canvas. That makes the final framing choice simply a personal accent."
Location: Mango Tango Art Gallery is located on Raphune Hill (Rt. 38) at Al Cohen's Plaza.
Hours: Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
