Airplane noise notwithstanding, it remains a fine choice for someone looking to escape the crowds at an easy-to-get-to, relaxing place with nice amenities. One can while away an afternoon almost alone, enjoying a good book, a lovely view of the Caribbean and perhaps a cocktail from one of the two beach bars. Fairly limited shade options make this a less than optimal choice for those with small children or sensitivity to the sun. Southern and Western exposure, however, make it a prime location to watch the sun set. It also affords dramatic views of the virginal green hills toward the island's wilder West End.
