Police Arrest Frenchtown Assault Suspect

The V.I. Police Department arrested a man suspected as an assault in Frenchtown.

According to police, Martin Paul Frederick, 48, was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. Monday after he was identified by witnesses and the victim, whose name was not released by police, as the individual who assaulted the victim in Frenchtown.

Frederick was unable to make bail and was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
