Police Investigate Bovoni Robbery

Two armed men robbed a woman who had just parked her car in front of her Estate Bovoni residence Friday evening, stealing her handbag, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the residence at 8:08 p.m. Friday, where they met with the victim, whose name was not released.

The woman said she had just parked her car when two black males armed with handguns rushed her and yelled “Give me your bag!” As she attempted to hand over her handbag, the suspects ripped the bag off her shoulder and ran through a shortcut leading towards the Bovoni Housing Community.
