One person was killed Saturday night in an incident that took place at Coki Point Beach, according to a source.
It was the fourth homicide on St. Thomas since the first of the year, the fifth in the territory.
The 911 emergency system received a call of a disturbance at 8:44 p.m. Five minutes later, the dispatcher logged a second call as "stabbing gunshot." the V.I. Territorial Emergency Management Authority manages the dispatch center and a real-time list of calls logged is available online.
No police officials were available Saturday night to provide any information on the incident. The Source learned that at least one person died in the incident.
