St. Thomas Man Charged with Robbery and Assault

Police on St. Thomas arrested 34-year-old Hakim Brooks, charging him with first-degree robbery, third-degree assault and grand larceny.

Police said that at about 6:30 p.m. Sep. 15, Brooks robbed and assaulted a 28-year-old victim in the area of Pile Strade.

The victim’s name was not released by police.

Brooks was arrested at about 4:45 p.m. Monday. His bail was set at $160,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections.
