SHOTS FIRED IN EAST END RAID

Narcotics Strike Force agents reportedly shot a suspect Tuesday morning who was being pursued in connection with a raid on St. Thomas' east end.
WVWI Radio One quoted unnamed sources as saying the shooting occurred near Sapphire Village. Agents were pursuing the suspect, who in turn pointed a weapon at them, the sources said.
The incident occurred at around 11:45 a.m.
As of late Tuesday afternoon police officials had not released any further information on the incident.
