No Vending or Tents Allowed in Roosevelt Veterans Memorial Park

The general public is reminded that no vending or erections of tents are allowed at the entrances or within the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Virgin Islands Veterans Memorial Park at any time, according to a press release issued Friday by the Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation.
Commissioner St. Claire N. Williams noted that such practice would incur damages to the landscaping and underground irrigation system at this facility. “Every effort is being made to ensure that the preservation of this historical site is maintained, and we ask for the assistance and cooperation of everyone,” he said.
