UVI’s Afternoon on the Green Winners Given

The University of the Virgin Islands announces the winners for the 2012 Afternoon on the Green, held in March on the St. Thomas campus golf course. Brianna Hairston won the “People’s Choice” competition for her vanilla cupcakes, by receiving the most texts to the Choice Wireless text line.
The recipients of the Afternoon on the Green Edward C. Thomas Service Awards for 2012 were Makiijah Crabbe, who was named UVI Student Volunteer of the Year, and Alicia Donadelle, who was named UVI Community Volunteer of the Year. See the complete list of winners for the food competition.
