Deadline Extended for Photovoltaic Course at Wheatley Skill Center

St. Thomas and St. John residents now have until Wednesday, Dec. 21,to register for the Raphael O. Wheatley Skill Center Photovoltaic Installation Program course and are encouraged to secure their space by registering early. Students will learn the methodof generating electricity through solar power conversion. Registration for the course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday to Fridayat the center in Estate Thomas.
Tuition fees are $250. per student, payable by money order or bank draft only to the Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Payment plans are available for interested persons. 
Participating students must be at least 18 years and have obtained a high school diploma. Additionally, he or she must have a valid ID with a recent photo, such as a passport or driver’s license, and proof of medical insurance when registering.
