Learn to Swim Classes Offered at Magens Bay Training Center
The Magens Bay Water Safety Training Center will offer its October Learn to Swim classes. The classes are for people six months to 106 years old. Registration and class grouping will be held on Oct. 8. Space is limited.
On Saturdays on Oct. 8 through Nov. From 9:30-10 a.m., five classes will be held for participants six months to five years old. A parent must accompany the child in the water. From 10-11 a.m. there will be five classes for those six to 15 years old and those 16-106, beginners through advanced. From 11 a.m. to noon, children 6-15 beginner swimmers will be taught for five weeks.
The cost of the five-week sessions is $75. Family rates are available for three or more family members. There is a special price of $65 for triathletes.
