Alexis Williams Dies at 72

Alexis Williams Alexis Williams, better known as Lex, died on Nov. 4 at Coki Point Beach. He was 72 years old.
He leaves to cherish his memories six children: Letitia Williams-Sharry in Florida, Mackella Brown,Terrance Brown, Kevin Brownall on St. Kitts, Alexis Williams Jr. on St. Thomas and Rodney Williams in Florida; six sisters: Sarah Williams in London, Shirley Williams, Gwenneth Williams-Dore and Claudette Williams, all in St. Thomas, Althea Charles and Cuthlyn Dickenson in New York.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Rashaun Sharry, Shuquana Sharry, Janaie Brown, Nazdravi Brown, Terrance Johnson, Terrencia Johnson, Tesron Johnson, Neilson Alexis Williams III, Aquaisha Williams, Aneiqua Williams, Nahshon Williams and Jahlion Williams; one great-grandchild, Zariah Gumbs; one aunt, Mary Pinney in London; many nieces and nephews, at home and abroad; many friends, including: Maisie Brown (Phylis), Phoebean Williams and Fitzroy Cannonier; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Davis Funeral Home. A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, at First Church of God, Bolongo. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
