Andre Christian Jr. Dies at 27

Andre Christian Jr. Andre Christian Jr., better known as “Chuck” or “A.J.,” died on Sept. 28 at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 27 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Lorna Fleming Christian; father, Andre Christian Sr.; brother, DeShawn Scatliffe; sisters: Kima Fredericks King, Felicia David, Akema and Anishka Christian; brother-in-law, Michael King; grandfathers: Albato Fleming and Hezekiah Christian; children: Ajnae and Ajahmekcai Christian; fiancé, Kemesha Wade; and aunts: Doreen Benjamin, Valarie Andrew, Alega and Sharon Christian, Dalia Brown, Martle Joseph, Emerald Joseph, Odette Fleming, Sandra Christian, Caroline Christian, Janice Christian and Louise Roberts.
He is also survived by his uncles: Berris and Udince Fleming, Marvin and Terrace Maddicks, Calmore Christian, Morris Joseph, Eustace Andrews and Claude Christian; cousins: La’Tisha D’Abreau, Isiah Benjamin, Adowa, Kaleem, Abijah, Akil, Atba and Ashi Fleming, Kront Kerann Brown, Elton and Meusett Jeffers, Stacy Joseph, Sharma, Stacy and Valarieann Andrews, Morris James, Novena and Luien Maddicks, Deloni Hill and Julian Christian; special godmother, Carol Rhymer; special friend, Shatel Mala; close friends: Louis Bramble, Iniko Williams, Johnaton Eustace, Jamal Williams and Celia N. Francis; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at Frederick Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
