Deaths — St. Thomas
Rubina Olympia Jackson-Rogers Dies in Texas

Rubina Jackson-Rogers, better known as “Ruby,” “Beani” and “Peanut,” died at Medical Center Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was 67 years old.
She is predeceasedby her parents: Louis and Lauris Jackson; sisters: Theresa Mahoney and Beryl Stephens, and aunt, Zepheria Peterson.
She is survived by her son, Kelvin Rogers; daughters: Laurie Fleming-Corraspe and Dr. Willisa Pinney; daughter-in-law, Tameka Rogers; son-in-law, Dennis Corraspe; brothers:Louis Jackson Jr. and Kenneth Jackson Sr.; sister, Sonia Archer; grandchildren: Jahbaar Williams, Jahmela Williams, Jahmeka Williams, Kurtis Rogers and Tatiana Fulford; nieces and nephews: Cheryl Fleming-Bryan, Ianthe Fleming-Boggan, Dr. Lorraine Fleming-Parrish, Lambert Fleming, Collette Fleming, Kenneth “Rootsie” Mahoney, Dennis “Shimba” Mahoney, Clarence “Baja” Mahoney, Wayne “Teba” Mahoney, Deneen and Seneen Jackson, Kenneth Jackson Jr., Darlene Jackson-Bland and Yvette Jackson; special friends: Garnett Martin, Leona George. Leonice Henley-Smith, Janet Harrigan, Judy Martinez, Avericcia Williams, the Pinney family, Clark family, CAHS Class of 1964 and the V.I. National Guard family; as well as many great nieces and nephews whom she was very close to, and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Frederick Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
All arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
