Lillian Agatha Hodge Blyden Dies at Age 80

Lillian Agatha Hodge Blyden of St. Thomas died July 5, 2012 at the Roy Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 80 years old.

She is survived by her children, Shirlene Industrious, Valdevia Blyden, Ellen Blyden and Sandra M. Benjamin; her adopted son, Jason Keithroy Pierre; grandchildren, Zandra Aina, Leslie Commissiong, Liara Brown and Maria Commissiong; great grandchildren, Kafila Aina, Laide Aina, Bode Aina, Zephyr Francis, Jasiah Brown and Saidha Brown; siblings, Harriet Nelson, Cynthia Hodge Forbes, Brenda Rhymer, Sonia Hodge, Sinclair Hodge, Ronald Hodge, Bernel Hodge, Anselmo Hodge, Lawrence Hodge Sr. and Maude Colbourne; stepmother, Winifred Hodge; and many other friends and relatives.

The first viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 26 at the Davis Funeral Home. A second viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. July 27 at the Wesley Methodist Church. Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church, with burial to follow at Cane Garden Bay Cemetery.

Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
