Coral World Is Grateful for Dolphin Habitat Project Outcome

Dear Source:
The team at Coral World deeply appreciates the continued public support for the proposed dolphin habitat. We are very grateful that the Governor of the Virgin Islands recently signed the Lease Amendment and CZM permit that allows us to construct the 2-acres dolphin habitat and advance the project. The people of the Virgin Islands were well represented in the rigorous permit process, and comments from the public and the agencies have helped us improve the project in a manner even more beneficial to the St. Thomas community.
Ensuring that this exciting project is an asset for the community and to the environment is a top priority. As a mission-driven organization, Coral World works hard every day to educate and inspire the public to respect and care for the environment for future generations of Virgin Islanders. Our caring professionals encourage guests and our community members to be even more concerned about the environment and the well-being of dolphins and other aquatic life. This is why we are committed to this important project that will help foster a greater appreciation of these animals.
We look forward to continuing to work with the community and relevant agencies to bring this project to completion. Sincerely,
Trudie Prior — General Manager, Coral World
