UVICELL Offers Human Resource Certification Program

Human Resource professionals who wish to obtain nationally recognized certification can now take advantage of a preparatory course being held by the University of the Virgin Islands - Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center, St. Thomas.  The Human Resource Certification program will be held 6-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Sept.10 at the UVICELL Center.
The certification review course provides a solid foundation for meeting human resource challenges found in today’s demanding work environment and prepares professionals to achieve their Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) designation.  The certification is awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and signifies that human resource professionals have achieved the industry certification that sets them apart as true professionals in their field.
